Diamondback Overdrive 29er Mountain Bike.
There's a brand new bike on the trail ' the Diamondback Overdrive 29er Mountain Bike.'
They're increasing in popularity simply because they function as a fantastic all-mountain substitute to well-known
far more complex and high-priced full-suspension bikes. The reason why these bikes are known as 29ers is as a
result of their larger rim and tire size. Standard bikes come with an approximate wheel diameter of 26-inches.
The Diamondback Overdrive 29er mountain bike
MTB wheel set is 29 inches with the tire fully installed. Should you briefly check out
both a 29 inch mountain bike and conventional bike there's a chance you're tempted to say that they appear
precisely the same which would be accurate coming from a fundamental aspect. Both of them possess the regular
diamond frame, they both generally include a front shock and equivalent front and back derailleurs, however
the wheels are not the same. This variance alone is precisely what places a 29 inch in a league of its
own.
A Diamondback Overdrive 29er mountain bike is really a wonderful all-mountain ride for a number of good reasons.
First, these bikes will take a log or rock at virtually full-speed and roll over it with minimal, jarring impact.
The bigger wheels and rims soak up the bumps and obstacles on the trail effortlessly. It doesn't matter if you're
in Colorado, Montana, Moab, Utah, or even New york City, a 29er provides superior shock reduction than a 26er.
Trail conditions change regularly, no matter where you ride. This 29er will typically offer more stability through
these ever changing trail conditions which makes them an awesome choice for taller riders. Crushed stone, mud, and
puddles can yank a bike out from underneath just about any rider if they aren't careful. A greater wheel and tire
size can certainly help protect against wipe outs and needless injuries.
Here are two customer reviews from Amazon
from satisfied buyers.
"Bought mountain bike online this past week! If you can find it, buy it. They are selling out
fast and all stores have low quantities of this model. Bike looks great - almost all black. Tires are knobbby
and ready for the trails . Front fork locks out. Very comfortable ride. The 29's are ready to roll and even on
streets I didn't feel like I had to work that hard to get rolling. Components are really nice. Even a few guys
at different bike stores said they compare to $700-900 bikes. The only drawback (to some) may be the weight.
It's not the lightest bike out there but I'm not in need of a featherweight bike for jumping or anything.
Overall, I love this bike and will be riding it for a long time! Two thumbs up!
"Recently, I upgraded to the Diamondback Overdrive 29'er Mountain Bike (2011 Model, 29-inch
wheels), produced by Raleigh. The Diamondback is certainly an upgrade! And since I cycle more often now the
quality of ride is very important. After test riding several high priced brand bikes from two bike shops in
Pennsylvania and New York I decided to buy the mountain bike online. At around $500 its Price and Quality
easily compare with or even exceed certain model offerings, such as the Cannondale, Felt and Trek. Firstly,
the 29ers offer a smooth ride over muddy and rugged terrain.
Second, the Diamondback Override offers competitive pricing with a smart look and competition build.
That's the MO for the Overdrive Comp. With a butted 6061-T6 aluminum frame and SR Suntour XCR-Rl 100mm fork with
lockout built around these beefy 29" wheels, there is no root, rock or mountain that can't be conquered.
"
One last thing: the bike has been voted the best option mountain bike in most of
the leading polls for 2011.
